Under the slogan “Thank You to the Sea and the Port,” the 25th Ishinomaki Port Appreciation Festival (organized by Ishinomaki City) was held on September 27.
Continuing from last year, our company set up an exhibition booth and conducted tours of our power plant. At the booth, in addition to informational panels,
we displayed biomass fuels such as wood pellets and palm kernel shells (PKS), explaining the mechanisms and role of biomass power generation to many visitors.

During the tour, which was attended by approximately 40 people, we introduced the importance of renewable energy and our company’s decarbonization initiatives while participants viewed the actual facilities.

We will continue to value our interactions with the local community and strive to ensure a stable supply of electricity and contribute to the region.
