Sustainability

  • To create a future 100 years from now where energy scarcity is a thing of the past

RENOVA’s mission is to create green and sustainable energy systems for a better world. Based on this mission, we are working to create a sustainable society by driving the development and operation of renewable energy power sources (solar, biomass, wind, geothermal and hydro) in Japan and other Asian countries.
We have also made it Our Vision to become Asia’s renewable energy leader.
To achieve this vision, we will first drive the introduction of renewable energy through our core business.
We must also work to enhance the sustainability of our business itself.
With promoting the introduction of renewable energy and improving the sustainability of our business base as our two key policies, we aim to realize Our Mission and Our Vision, and create a future that is free of energy concerns 100 years from now.

    Basic policy on sustainability
  • Promoting the introduction of renewable energy

In order to realize Our Mission and Our Vision, we are making use of the abundant blessings of nature in each region, and combining them with the capabilities of diverse and talented human resources and partners who agree with our philosophy to drive the introduction of renewable energy.
We are aiming for a power generation capacity of 3.0GW in the medium term.
Through our Renewable Energy Business, we will contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions and fulfill our commitments.

    Corporate Philosophy
  • Improving the sustainability of our business base

RENOVA has identified key areas that need to be addressed in order to improve the sustainability of its business base, and defined 12 priority areas as material issues, based on consideration of their importance to stakeholders and business impact.
We have organized these material issues into three categories (1) Earth and Environment, (2) Communities and Society, and (3) Management Base (Governance and Compliance) to advance our initiatives.
