Support for Those Affected by the August 2026 Chiba Torrential Rain
RENOVA, Inc. (hereinafter “RENOVA”) offers its deepest condolences to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives in the August 2026 Chiba Torrential Rain, and extends its heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the disaster.
RENOVA announces that it has donated relief funds to Chiba Prefecture to support recovery and reconstruction efforts in the affected areas. In addition to operating Futtsu Solar (Futtsu City; capacity: 40.4MW) in Chiba Prefecture since the early stages of its renewable energy business development, RENOVA has recently been developing small-scale distributed solar PV projects in cities affected by this disaster, such as Ichihara City, Sakura City, Tateyama City, and Sammu City. RENOVA has consistently promoted its business, backed by the warm understanding and support of local communities.
In view of the widespread and severe damage caused by the heavy rain, RENOVA decided to provide this support, praying for the swift recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas, and for all those impacted to return to their normal, peaceful lives as quickly as possible.
Regarding the impact of the August 2026 Chiba Torrential Rain on the RENOVA Group’s power plants (in operation and under construction), no material damage to assets or other significant impacts have been confirmed.
RENOVA sincerely prays for the earliest possible recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas.
