Cleanup Activities at Gamo Tideland
On June 13, the Gamo Tidal Flat cleanup, an annual event during Environmental Month, was held.
Thanks to the daily cleanup activities by the Nakano-Denshou no oka Preservation Society and local surfers, the amount of trash has been greatly reduced year by year.
The Gamo Tidal Flat is a breeding ground for the ”Koa Tern”, which is also the character (*1)
of the “Gamo Nakano Kyoshu-kan” located on the power plant premises.
We will do what we can to preserve the rich natural environment that has been restored from the
tsunami damage caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake for the future.
