Environmental study session for Otawara High School
Second-year students from Otawara High School visited Nasu Karasuyama Solar and our employees served as instructors for environmental education.
Otawara High School is a Super Science High School (SSH) designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and is engaged in various initiatives to provide high-level education in science and mathematics with the aim of nurturing the next generation of science and technology professionals.
The students who visited us this time are engaged in research on environmental issues such as local renewable energy and carbon neutrality.
They commented that “touching the actual solar panels deepened my understanding,” and “I would like to investigate other renewable energy sources such as biomass and geothermal.”
