Students of Kokonoe Kotobuki University visited Kokonoe Solar.
Kotobuki University is a lifelong learning class for local senior citizens, and was established in 1971 with the aim of fostering “a sense of purpose and pride in life among the elderly.

Fourteen students who interested in environmental learning participated in this year’s event.
Many of them saw actual large-scale solar power generation for the first time, and later commented that “they were proud to see so much renewable energy being generated in their hometown.”
