On July 16, we welcomed students from Iwate Prefectural Karumai High School to the Millet Park Solar Pavilion in Karumai Town to hold an “Energy Class.”
This initiative, designed to deepen students’ understanding of energy, environmental issues, and the renewable energy projects being promoted in the region, marks its seventh session since it began in 2020.

Many of the participating first-year students had visited the facility while in middle school; this time, in addition to reviewing what they learned three years ago,
we provided explanations that incorporated the latest trends in renewable energy.

We will continue to collaborate with the local community to provide learning opportunities for the next generation.
