As in the previous year, a Karatsu Biomass employee participated as a lecturer in the “Let’s Hear from Professionals” event hosted by Saga Nishi Senior High School.

This was the fourth time for our employees to participate as lecturers in a class organized by Saga Nishi Senior High School under the theme of research activities on social issues.
On the day of the lecture, the employees gave a wide-ranging lecture on the Karatsu Biomass Power Plant, renewable energy, and the work of the power plant.

After the lecture, students commented, “Now that I know that I can be involved in solving environmental problems through business, I have more options for my future,”
and “Now I know that I can make a difference in the environment not only through science and technology.
