We participated in the Kamino Island cleanup activity

The other day, the “Kamino Island Cleanup Activity” organized by the Fukuoka Prefecture Kanda Port Authority was held, and staff from the Kanda Biomass Power Plant also participated.

Kamino Island is an uninhabited island floating in the eastern sea off Kanda Town. At the western tip of the island stands the Ichikishima Shrine, revered as the guardian deity of the sea and a place of worship for those involved in fishing. While Kami-no-shima boasts beautiful scenery, the reality is that a significant amount of drifting garbage washes up on its shores. We take this environmental issue seriously and, as responsible members of the local community, dedicated ourselves to the cleanup and waste collection efforts.

We will continue to work in collaboration with the local community to strive for sustainable environmental creation and conservation.
