The “Ishinomaki Port Appreciation Festival” (hosted by Ishinomaki City) was held on September 21st. Continuing from last year, our company participated by setting up an exhibition booth and conducting tours of the power plant. At the exhibition booth, we displayed informational panels about the power plant, along with actual samples of the biomass fuels we use (wood pellets and palm kernel shells (PKS)).
Approximately 40 people participated in the power plant tour, where we explained the mechanisms of the power generation facilities, our resource circulation initiatives, and our collaboration with the local community.
Through the exhibition booth and the power plant tour, we were able to deepen communication with the local community, making this a highly meaningful event.
