Fifteen elementary school students from the Bremen after-school children’s club in Ishinomaki City and their leaders were invited to visit the power plant.

The students were able to touch and feel wood pellets and palm kernel shells (PKS), which are used as fuel, and also conducted an experiment on how electricity is generated using a simple power generation device.

We hope that this visit was a good opportunity for the participants to familiarize themselves with electricity and biomass power generation.
