On the occasion of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. of the Republic of the Philippines’ visit to Japan from May 26 to 29, 2026, we held a meeting with a delegation led by Sharon S. Galin, Secretary of the Department of Energy (DOE).

We regard the Philippines as one of our top priority countries in the overseas market. During the meeting, we exchanged various proposals and opinions from a business operator’s perspective to further accelerate renewable energy development in the future. Reflecting on the meeting, President Kiminami stated, “The Secretary demonstrated an understanding of the challenges we renewable energy operators face and expressed a strong commitment to cooperation for the development of this sector,”adding, “This has further strengthened our resolve at Renova to contribute to improving the country’s energy situation.”

Moving forward, we will continue to take steady steps toward the Philippines’ transition to clean energy and the realization of a sustainable society through our business operations in the country.
