On January 28, 2026, twelve students from the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Public Policy visited the Futtsu Solar. This visit was conducted as part of a fieldwork program focused on global decarbonization issues and public policy. The group, which included students from diverse backgrounds across Asia, Europe, and the USA toured the facility’s key infrastructure, including the solar panels, administrative building, power conditioners, and regulating reservoirs. Participants shared positive feedback, with one noting, “We gained practical insights that can only be found on-site, such as the specific design innovations used to mitigate natural disaster risks.” Moving forward, we remain committed to fostering a deeper understanding of renewable energy through educational support for the next generation of leaders.
